In today’s Gospel, Jesus compares the Kingdom of Heaven to a wedding banquet. The king prepares a great feast, but many of those invited are too busy to come. God continues to invite each of us to share in His love, His joy, and the life of His Church.

The invitation is a gift, but we must choose to accept it. The wedding garment reminds us that accepting God’s invitation also means allowing His grace to change our hearts and our lives. Our faith should be seen in the way we love, forgive, serve, and care for others.

Every Sunday, the Lord invites us to His table. May we never be too busy to accept His invitation. May we come with grateful hearts and share the joy of His love with those around us.
