In this Sunday’s Gospel, Jesus tells the parable of the vineyard and the tenants (Matthew 21:33–43). The landowner carefully prepares the vineyard and entrusts it to others. But when the time comes to receive its fruits, the tenants forget that the vineyard does not belong to them.

This parable invites us to consider what God has entrusted to us. Our lives, families, talents, time, possessions, and faith are all gifts from God. We are called not simply to possess these gifts, but to use them faithfully and generously.

The question for each of us is: What kind of fruit is my life producing? Are our words and actions producing love, kindness, forgiveness, generosity, and faith?

God patiently calls us to return to Him and to bear good fruit. As we celebrate the Eucharist this Sunday, may we remember that all we have comes from God, and may we become faithful stewards of His vineyard, sharing His love with those around us.
